Your choice stays yours.

Only a small preference record is needed to remember it. Audience measurement is optional.

Effective 31 October 2026

What is stored

The necessary first-party cinematicaddict-consent-v1 local-storage record keeps your analytics choice for six months so we do not ask on every page. It does not itself identify you across websites. If you opt in on the production site, Google’s first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies can distinguish visits and sessions. We configure those cookies to expire after 90 days, shorter than Google’s default. No GA4 cookie is needed to read the site.

Browsers may also store ordinary cached files needed to display pages quickly. Those are not reader profiles. Vercel may use security mechanisms for delivery and abuse prevention; provider-controlled technical records are explained in our privacy policy.

Change or withdraw your choice

opens the preference control when JavaScript is available. Rejecting optional analytics keeps the reading experience available. A browser Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is treated as a denial of optional analytics. Withdrawal stops future optional collection on this browser; it cannot undo data already processed before withdrawal. With JavaScript disabled, optional analytics does not load. You can remove the preference record using your browser’s site-data controls to make a fresh choice later.

What we do not use now

There are no advertising or personalized-ad cookies on this site. We do not use cookies to save a viewing history, account, search terms or a child profile. Future ad technology would require a new notice and consent review before activation.

For details of GA4 cookie behavior, read Google Analytics cookie usage. For our own data handling, read Privacy.
